problems with computer starting

hello everyone new here my name is Medina my system is inspiron 1525. i'm pretty sure i have a virus which is creating my start up problem. i called dell a couple of times i was getting different prices which frustrated me, so i wanted to see if anyone can help me fix the problem on my own. thanks in advance.

If you do not get a responce, then I would go to Spyware Hammer and post there. Please stick to just one forum. Stick with the first forum you get a responce. If you get a responce from the other forum, then kindly tell them you posted at the other forum, they'll understand.
