Says email validation failed - try again? How?
I received following message upon logging on. What could be the problem...everytrhing else recognizes me!
"Email validation has failed. The email validation token sent to you is valid for a predefined amount of time. Please request another validation message."
Please explain what I must do to become validated. Sheesch! I've been married for 56 years...that must be some sort of validation.

This has nothing to do with Windows or your computer. It's most likely some program, game, junk mail or web site that's pestering you. Check your Start button, Programs list, Startup folder to see if it's there. If you find something in the Startup folder, delete it.

I'm thinking Dot means an email validation error when logging into this forum.
If that's the case, since Dot just signed up today, only thing I can think of is the account/forum software sent a standard email to confirm the registration, but the address came back as invalid (or the email was bounced back for some other reason) - maybe just a glitch, or a typo in the email address.
Dot - if you click on your name next to your post, it will open up your profile, and you can see the email address Dell has on file for your account - make sure the address is completely correct.

I got the same error message today. After setting up a Community account I was sent an email to validate my address. It said "Please click the link below to validate your email address and enable your account at Dell Community." When I tried to do that I got the error message asking me to request another validation email but no instructions how to do that. Who is in charge here?

seeking validation----
I see that a few others have had this problem, too. I entered my user name and password; the system accepted them---and said I would be receiving an e-mail to which I had to respond to validate my registration in the Dell Community. I received an e-mail, that said it contained a link I was to click on; while there was a URL address, it was not a 'hot link' such that clicking on it would do anything. Therefore I copied and pasted it (a very long one) to the URL bar and pressed Enter. The response was "
