790 SFF, GPU upgrade

Hi! Im running a GTX 1050ti low profile from MSI, works like a charm, sounds like a muscle car. If you have a good pair of headphones or speakers you won't notice the sound. 

hey I tried doing that same thing but I used a gtx 750 ti and the computer wont detect it even though it Is on and the fans are running

An upgrade from integrated graphics, to a trash cheap GPU, the gt1030 isnt worth it

I got a 790 sff for free, looking at Ebay now for an I7-2600, 16gb and gtx 1650 low profile, gonna hook it up to the tv, and a tower case does not fit my tv furniture. plus I only play world of warships and warzone, so a gtx 1650 is plenty for that, for everything else I've got my msi gp75 leopard and gaming tower upstairs

I am currently using Dell Optiplex 790 SFF with 32GB and i7-2600.

I am not a gamer, but a couch potato.

I am currently playing around with Plex, Emby and Jellyfin, and decades load of old-format video files (rm, rvmb, xvid) stored in my Synology NAS.

My PC is chucked in one corner and remote accessed via RDP.

Anyone got a good low profile graphic card which would enable the Intel Quick Sync, or its likes.

I just need to re-encode my old video files, and re-encoded convert royalty-linked AC3 audio files.

Just need a new video card which my old pc PSU could handle.

Any recommendations?

Question:

I have tossed the case and psu , replaced with a 650w psu and it runs like a gunship (as per userbenchmark). when I try and add multiple GPU's it wont startup but if I add only 1 it works fine.

any ideas?

what about a radeon rx 550? That's good i think
