bios option in gray

Hi everyone

I have a problem with an optiplex 3050

has been working well, i bought an ssd to upgrade my computer,

when I connected the hard drive, the classic no boot device error appeared, on that occasion I did not have time and chose to return the original hard drive but ther error persist....

I acces to the bios to check and change the boot options but all the options appear in gray and I can not modify anything,
try to enable them by putting password to the admin and the system
user but they are still gray, check the  bios version and update it but still the same ... any ideas?

Only the old (properly setup) HDD connected.

Try temporarily disabling SecureBoot.
Then be sure Boot Priority #1 is "Windows Boot Manager"
After you get back in, shut-down and re-enable SecureBoot.

You upgrade BIOS from initial (F12 on Boot) "UEFI-Environment" .

If this machine is on a corporate network, or has CompuTrace LoJack (or similar) installed ... you should check with Admin or Owner first.

3050 and newer is 64 bit windows 8.1 or 10 only  GPT UEFI.

MBR legacy booting is NO LONGER An option for hard drive.

AHCI is required as are Mass Storage F6 drivers in order to SEE a drive to install on.
