BIOS upgrade
I acquired old Dell Optiplex from a garage sale, I upgraded BIOS form A16 to A25, would this mean I have flashed my BIOS? and any Rootkit or Bootkit/ malware present in BIOS is gone.
Besides that I have done Diskpart/ Clean ( not Cleanall) and done fresh install of OS
No Events found!

Bios upgrade is flashing bios. Rookit removal requires special tools and methods, such as flashing the BIOS with a clean version, but even that may not be a guaranteed solution depending on the rootkit's sophistication.
