Boot cycle error message: Unsupported Video Configuration Detected......
Optiplex 990 mini-tower. Obviously containing both a display port and an installed card.
Some time ago I added a Asus display to the display port. No problems were apparent. Then I received my first Subject line message that continued "Display Port and Card Installed in PCI-Express Slot 1". The message continued by asking me to remove the card. The card has no monitor connected to it.
What is the worst consequence of NOT removing the card? Boot time annoying messages? If so is there a work around? Somewhere, perhaps a different system, I read that the card would be disabled by the OS. Why not here and now?
For me to believe is insufficient for you to know. - rodalsa
Thanks
