Custom Optiplex 9020 MT Build
currently doing research to build a custom OptiPlex 9020 MT with the PC5F7 motherboard, what would be the best gpu for an i7 4790 using the PC5F7 motherboard, I'm looking at using the 365W psu since I'm a bit unsure about the 24 pin to 8 pin adapter. would a gigabyte gtx 1060 3GT OC bottleneck my i7 4790?

It's easy to check bottleneck. Google "i7-4790 GTX 1060 bottleneck." Choose the option that's PC Builds, which is usually the first one.

I’ve heard that those are really inaccurate, I’m mainly worried about compatibility, I’m trying to get a 1060 but I’m unsure if using gigabyte or MSI or EVGA will affect long term usage
