Dell Floppy drive cable - OptiPlex 755 SFF
There is clearly a DKST header :
where you can plug in a cable like this : (E41447-HWCS). and it would show in the front of the case like this :
The problem is, the E41447-HWCS is rather expensive and becoming rather rare(in the UK at least). Is there a way that I can make my own DIY cable that follows the pinout of the motherboard and stuff?

use an external USB floopy drive is probably cheaper and much easier than reverse engineering this special ribbon cable.

try to find a ribbon with the 26 pin connector included.
it is a cheap available part on ebay but UK is excluded from eBay global shipping program. you can try to work with a US seller.
