Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF Max PCI-E Power
Hello. I've been trying to get a graphics card for my Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF and I was wondering how much power the slot provides. I am currently considering a RX 560 but that is a 75w card and I'm not sure if the PSU can handle that. Can it handle the card without the PCI-E slot/PSU being overloaded? Thanks!
Specs of my build:
Intel Core i5-4590
16GB DDR3L-1600
256GB SSD
240W Stock PSU (Model D255AS-00)
DIH81R/Tigris SFF Motherboard

That GPU should work and this page at hardware-corner has a few more suggestions.

JOcean is spot on. It is the SFF psu and not the PCIe x16 slot that one looks at to decide on gpu power. 3020 SFF has a 255w psu which is plenty to support a 75W video card.

Although you have received very practical answers from both of our community experienced experts, I thought to provide a precise answer to the question of your topic.
For the 3020 SFF, the PCIe x16 slot maximum wattage is 50W, the PCIe x1 slot maximum wattage is 10W.
Information is referenced from the system board technical data for mini tower and small form factor.

note a 75w low profile video card can only be installed in pciex16 slot in 3020 SFF and the psu will have to be relocated outside case to make room for the video card (>1 slot width).
The 50w “max” is what Dell has validated add in card in 3020 SFF, but not the true max. Users have validated 75w. This is akin to Dell spec “max” 512GB ssd in some model, which is Dell validated “max” and not real max.
