390 is crippled model and does not have power supply or chipset that supports I7.

Max cpu is core I5 2400.

not what DELL can do , nor the mobo or BIOS but this is what the H61 can do

for sure

http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Intel_(chipsets)/H61_Express.html

read it , it is fact.

why not try it, first. as others sure have.

NO OS stated at all are you running AIR OS, (as in none)? some OLD PCs like this have weak or no support under windows 10, it will run sure but has limits. (and more to come due to Intel support ending)

here is the now gone warning at Intel.com

this is YOU,  series 6. (so buy A PC with Series 7 up, ok) if long term support seems good.

Primarily for Intel® 6, 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets - Zip Format 9.2.0.1030, will no longer be available after October, 29, 2019 and will not be supported with any additional functional, security, or other

NO PC stated at all just 390,, MT what is the case type and that dictates MOBO and watts CPU IT CAN Run.
What CPU is there now, I5-2500? this too is 95watt cpu. Sandybridge CPU it IS.

hello kind customer of DELL. (why do this> , name 1 reason?)

In the Military we had < right way, wrong way and MIL way, same here! (for answers)

Dell says no,  all others say yes, or no can do PERIOD. Is your BIOS upgraded first ????? Y/N?

well , you can look at 1000's of others for free at any time to see truth.

the wiki lists this PC as intel Gen2,i3/i5 max (dells words) there. age 9 years old

Intel Quad core gen2 listed, H61 Express Chipset.

dreaming of i7-2600 ?

the PC BIOS must allow it and the CHiP set, too. The chip does, says intel.

it needs 95watts, The MT can do that,

It only costs you $20 to buy one used and try it, what stops you, IDK? brave up? eeeeebaaayyyyyyy

why not just LOOK HERE WHAT 6000 OTHERS DID?

no really just look first, there.  lots of i7-2600 there SEE EM.

but NO PC told at all just 390, no photo of your PC nor caste type. hinted.

MT, DT, SFF, USFF  (390 is 4 PCs which one is YOURS)

what can be limited is POWER, on the dinky versions of the 4.

next time tell the helpers what PC you really have,  photos take you 1min work. or less.(no lack of camera's today)

lets do this different (NO PC told is this the mighty MT cased 390)?

I will pretend I am you,

Hello I have 390MT

I want to game it.(a goal)  running GAME X , is slow, it's  $60 AAA+ game and runs slow 10FPS (wow slow)

I can't find or afford a real GPU card so friends told me (wrong) I need the I7. (but sounds nice sure)

this post too is weak too,  no Card stated now, no Monitor stated or dreams OF 4K gaming?

NO INTENT fully stated, and what options the PC has now, RAM size and all things, like SSD and more.

that is all, good luck to you !!!!!
