Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF - GPU, PSU, RAM, HHD & SSD Upgrade
Hello, I currently have a Dell Optiflex 7010 SFF, but I'm hoping to upgrade the hardware and need of your help.
My current hardware on my system is:
CPU: Intel i7-3770 3.4GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: ATI Radeon 7000 series
I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU to GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile, upgrading the memory up to 16gb or 32gb and upgrade the HHD to 1TB and replace the optical drive to an SSD, do I need to upgrade my PSU for that?

and last this. deal, in your guide.page 19, 50watt max slot.
my 790 is 35watt limited but runs any card you can name, even with full load passmark and furmark !
even gtx1050 and gtx260 200watt card (using my custom fit PSU) I tried to overload the blue slot and failed. (it works) that must be said, the other PCI slots are empty and that helps as the A1 ,5pin 12v power feed is shared.

the product guide tells you what fits, for ram, and any ssd (sata) works, PSU is a what you see is what you got thing, this DELL IS NOT ATX spec and SFF shouts that clear for sure, read the guide yet:? dell manuals are free to read any time, just go to dell.com and find your pc docs.
the PSU does not support powerful, GPU cards, and has no AUX video power cables ether.
the SSF case is tiny, most GPU cards made will hot fit, why need GPU, gaming? with SFF?
the 1050it is limited to 75watts max on the slot. no AUX and is good choice if it fits, there are lots of 1050 made
you need 79mm low profile card, what I do is open the lid first, then see the space there (near none)
see the blue X16 slot, yah there. (say grossly limited out load)

I have seen other community sites that have the same build as mine and they have a GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile that runs well in their Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF, even upgraded their ram to 16gb and HHD/SSD.

use a ruler see what fits for length. (then pick a card a tad less long)
and do as top Guys at AMD/ATI or Nvidia say , endlessly there...
buy the card low profile. and try it ,there is no other way, vast cards exist, buy one 75watts or less.
try it and return it if it fails. (no cards with AUX power will work here, with this PSU)
low profile cards tend to be long, if they are fast they are long, ok, that is what happens, in the GPU lay out.
no 2 cards are really the same, power wise. nor size. vast sizes exist , ok?
case in point my OptiPlex 790 runs an old 200watt GTX260 card with custom PSU, even with 35watt slot spec.
runs any game or furmark or passmark 3d test. (fps be danged.) and runs gtx1050 all day. long, no matter what.
the real issues are size and PSU weak. here.

I carved out my case so a full size gpu fits. I hooked up a powersupply externally and everything works like a charm! running a full size gtx 660 direct cu ii no issues in 6+ months
