Dell Optiplex 7050 SSF Multiple 3.5HDD
Looking to have at least 2x 3.5HDD's in the Dell. Is there a good way to go about this? There currently a caddy available for this?
I haven't been able to find anything in my search but even if there is a CAD file for 3dprinting, I would love to know about it!
Thanks in advanced!

Re: having 1x 2.5 and 1x 3.5 possible? Or having 2x 2.5 and 1x 3.5 if the CD tray is replaced?
the case naturally accommodates two 2.5 or single 3.5, but not both. When you replace cd tray you add one more 2.5. Basically one 3.5 takes up space of two 2.5. In terms of max out number of storage, three 2.5 is way to go. There are only three sata ports anyway on motherboard. You can add a PCIe ssd too.

I do not see a good way about it. There is a Dell caddy for a single 3.5 hdd.
unless you keep the top pc cover open and piggy back a second 3.5 hdd on top, the SFF chassis is too cramped to accommodate a second let alone <2 3.5 hdd.
Your other options are flexibility: rather than insisting on >1 3.5 hdd in SFF consider multiple (up to 3) 2.5 hdd, or consider an MT optiplex.

When I opened by box up, it looked as those there is room if I were to put it sideways near the power supply. Not sure what the heat issue would look like though, maybe upgrading the fans would be an option for that route. Will need to open it up again and look.
On another note, having 1x 2.5 and 1x 3.5 possible? Or having 2x 2.5 and 1x 3.5 if the CD tray is replaced? Currently I have an m.2 ssd in my box but I'm trying to cram as much HDD in the box as I can as I'm using it a server with proxmox on the bare metal.
