Longer answer is your 740 DT (SFF is the other smaller size) should already have a 280w PSU. The Optiplex XE SFF came with a 280w PSU, and sometimes people with lesser 235w PSU's use the XE PSU to upgrade. Videos are on YouTube. That's the only known exception. Much easier to do upgrades on MT's.
