Dell optiplex 780
Hi
I have a dell optiplex 780 computer. I recently had some hard drive problems so I brought a new one. When I try start the computer it says 'no bootable device available'. Now looking at the old hard drive and the new one I realise there is a slight difference. The old one is wd5000aakx-60u6aa0 and the new one is wd5000aakx-08u6aa0. Can anyone help?

you need to do clean install of OS on the new hdd. a hdd without OS is regarded as a drive without bootable device by BIOS.
