Dell Optiplex 790/990 Case Swap/Upgrade

Hi there,

I am currently in the process of building a budget gaming computer. I want to upgrade/swap the case on a Dell Optiplex 790/990 Full Tower. I would like to swap it to a modern ATX case with RGB lighting, USB 3.0, working front io, etc... What adapters would be needed for this process? I am assuming I would need a 3.0 Adapter but don't know what else would be needed to make it fully functional.

Specs:

i5-2400

8GB RAM

1TB HDD

Wifi + Windows

DVD

Thanks in advance!

this video helps.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fh5mVi4wUwA

it talks about using a old hdd jumper for motherboard 5 pin power switch etc.

you can also wire case power switch to a Dell proprietary 5 pin power switch adapter.https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Dell-Motherboards-Dell-5-6-Pin-Power-Button-LED-Front-Panel-Adapter-Kit/115184972189?

case front usb 3.0 cable can be connected to this kind of PCIe adapter card
