Dell Optiplex 9010 "No AMD graphics driver installed"

So I just picked up a new Optiplex 9010 for my CNC plasma shop table.

It was working fine for the last 2 weeks. But this morning all of a sudden after turning it on. I get this error message and there is no GPU shown in the task manager. I went to update the driver from AMD but I have 0 information of the exact AMD Ratheon 7000 HD I have.

Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF Win 10 64

I launched my cut software and a warning game up on it saying the same thing that's its not compatible with the current AMD drivers. Please update.

I need help, the longer this is down the more money I lose not running my CNC table.

So I just manually installed the legacy driver from 2015 (last available update) and it’s now working.

Thanks you for the replies. You helped a ton!

Replace cmos battery with a brand new cr2032. Then clear cmos by motherboard RTC jumper.

it is likely have either Dell oem hd7570 or hd7470 low profile for 9010 sff based on tech guide that another optiplex enthusiast brad likes to quote.https://i.dell.com/sites/csdocuments/Shared-Content_data-Sheets_Documents/en/aa/OptiPlex_9010_Technical_Guidebook.pdf

I suggest you after battery and cmos clear do a clean Win 10 install then let Win10 auto download video drivers for the hd7570/7470. Do not manually download yourself.

Ok so still no luck.

replaced the CR2023 batteries, reset the cash and memory, reinstalled the GPU, fresh installed Windows and my 9010 still doesn’t see the GPU.

at least now it’s not saying the drivers is the issue. But it’s flat out not registering a GPU now. But what doesn’t make sense is the screen is plugged into the GPU and gets signal fine.

But as per task manager there is no GPU.

It takes a while before Windows 10 auto download driver for discrete gpu.  Before that it kept stubborn statement that “best video adapter” already installed for the gpu, and it uses default Windows basic video adapter.  Of course pc needs to be connected to internet for it to auto download.  Once it does that screen auto adjusts resolution using new adapter.  I have seen it wait up to 30 min to 40 min before doing this.
