Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF CPU Fan Inquiry

Hello and Good Day to All!

I am eyeing on 'non brand new' units of Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF, however, I am seeing two versions of its CPU heatsink & fan (reference pics below) , one of them is a blower type, one is the normal/regular one.

Question: can I swap these CPU heatsink & fan without any modifications? as I may end up with a regular one and I would like to replace them with a blower type if possible. The blower type seems to have better thermals compared to the regular heatsink & fan which scatters air throughout the chassis.

dell has no real parts lists

but many PCs have 2 fan choices,  eg:  65watt CPU and 95watt CPU max.

you wan th higher one , I guess.

blowning air out of case wins of into case.  most times.

im no SFF owner, I hate them, why not buy MT sizes and gain vast choices, and for sure no BTX PC ever.

get 9020MT,

this will be what varies per the guide 9010 (each has its own needs) for sure i7 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Intel® 3rd generation Core™ i7/i5 Quad Core, i3 Dual Core (Post launch) and Pentium® Dual Core (Post launch);
Intel® 2nd generation Core™ i3 Dual Core, Pentium® Dual Core; Intel vPro™ Technology available on select processors

some are i7-3770 at 77 watts.  , and Pentium 55 watts

also if a PC is fitted with GPU card they may change fans, for sure in such stinky dinky case. (or risk overheating)
