It supports 2.5 sata ssd. connect it like a 2.5 sata hdd and you need a 2.5 to 3.5 form factor adapter. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LmMTYszSGoY

My favorite SSD adapter: Orico SSD Adapter Amazon
Beware of cheapy adapters (which I tried by the way) that leave tabs that hang down in the way of connections.
Just so you know, adapter goes in original blue HDD caddy.
