Depending on the form factor/size of your 790, Google it or use Amazon's search box. For example, "optiplex 790 mini tower ram." With the age of the 790, RAM questions have been answered in this forum many times. Threads from this forum also come up in Google.
Crucial is guaranteed to work in Dell's amd has a lifetime warranty, but is a little pricey for a 790. I've had great luck with A-Tech RAM, which also has a lifetime warranty. I've used it for years.
