DVD-RW compatible with a new Optiplex 5000 SFF
I just got a new Optiplex 5000 that came with no DVD-RW.
I am looking for an inexpensive used optical drive and found many on eBay for Dell OptiPlex 7010 7020 9010 9020 SFF. I wonder if the 5000 Optiplex is compatible with those older models. Would something like the one in the picture work?
I also wonder whether that could be mounted along with a 3.5 HD or if I have to choose one or the other.

the slim dvd itself is generic and universally interchangeable in the recent Dell desktop models (they stopped using the full height dvd a long time ago), but for 5000 sff you need the appropriate latch for dvd. Dvd mounts along 3.5 hdd cage. They do not interfere. You can have both at same time.

I realized the drive needs to be 9.5 mm. So this one looks probably more appropriate. I called Dell tech support but they had no idea (?). Can anybody help, please?
