Hard Drive Diagnostic issue in Optiplex 790
Hi,
Recently our DELL OPTIPLEX 790 failed to load Windows 10 in boot, we ran diagnostics on the drive and found this error in the attached photo.
We also tried to use command prompt to check disk or get files from this hard disk but not availed due to I/O error,
Is there any way to attempt to access the hard drive to retain files or recover files to copy to USB/ external drive?
Do we need to update BIOS and if so, how do we update BIOS from USB?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

You'll need a new HDD/SSD. You won't need to update BIOS to load it.
Hopefully you ran regular backups. Once an HDD is done, it's done.
