How about add thermal function in bios setup
I have a dell 7020mt,often feels the fan is noisy. But there is no way to slow down the fan's speed.
I'v checked that fan's speed is 12xx rpm when cpu's temp is only about 30℃(86℉).
when the cpu is working fullload, I don't know the fan's speed, but the noise level seems not change .so I think the bios fan setup is too agressive for temp control which makes more noise.
so,I want to slow down the fan's speed ,even the cpu's temp will up a little. and why there is a Fan Control Override but no thermal control function(like a Fan idle mode - This bar graph controls the minimum permitted fan speed.)?
I think noise level is a important part of a bussiness computer.
sorry for my bad english.
Thanks !
