Optiplex 3010 missing BIOS options
I'm on BIOS A09. I have [F2] access to the BIOS settings, but I can't see any right-hand pane child items for left hand pane parent menu items beyond the "General" category. In other words these LH items have no entries in the RH pane: System Configuration; Security; Secure Boot; Performance; Power Management; POST Behavior; Vitualization Support; Maintenance; Image Server; System Logs. The boot mode is set to Legacy. If I reset the BIOS to default settings, the boot mode changes to UEFI. A subsequent boot tries to PXE boot from 2 net adapters (which do not have any boot ROM) then fails. Restoring the legacy boot setting allows me to use the machine, but the other BIOS items remain invisible. I originally purchased this machine from Dell Outlet. Is it possible it was originally set up for a customer that restricts clients to network boot, and that there is some non-standard BIOS flashing or other setting in play? I really would like to review and possibly change my remaining BIOS settings. Anything obvious I might be missing? Other thoughts? Thanks.

Hi - did you ever figure this out? I'm facing the same problem and I'd love to understand what is going on.

Try updating the bios in increments so start off with a11, a12, a13, a14, a15, a16, a17, a19, a21, a22. You can stop when it starts to work. A09 is not even on Dell's website so it is very dated. I recommend updating without any antivirus or in ms dos for it to work the best.
