If your in an MT model. Yes it will. But pairing a £60/$70ish CPU with a £800 graphics card is awful bottleneck. Just buy a used pc for £800. Look for 6/8 core cpus and a rtx card. *If you have DT, SFF, or USFF it wont fit.

  • I have a sff one, will an itx RTX 3050 fit? It has only 17mm x 5mm x 25mm of difference to the gtx 1650

Some more viable cards for the 3020 SFF:

  • 30w GT 1030 GDDR5
  • Quadro's P400, 600, 1000.  Wattages range from 47w to 50w
  • 50w RX 6400

You mentioned the GTX 1650.  It would have to be the low profile (LP) version.  Running it would be outside of Dell specs - running a 75w card on 255w PSU, even if they pull it off for a said amount of time on YouTube.  However, the 315w PSU from the XE2 SFF would do great for it.

Unfortunately, RTX 3050 is out of the question for the 3020 SFF.and it's 255w PSU.  There is also the possibility of it being a stretch for the 315w XE2 SFF PSU that can fit in a 3020 SFF.

As for dimensions, it's too long.  Even with the shorter version, cooling listed as double-height.  I'm not sure of what it's exact height is, but you might know since you listed dimensions above.

Please see screengrabs below:

From the 3020 Tech Guide:

Optiplex 3020 Tech Guide attached below.

The RTX 3050 would have to sit outside of the case with an extension cable for the SFF.  Double-height is out of the question for the SFF.

Max length is listed as 6.6" in the Tech Guide for the black x16 slot, but may actually be 9"-10" in the MT.  9"-10" is typically what we refer to for the MT and one can always measure.  Too much attached to my MT rig to feel like pulling it apart to measure.  Can also measure in the SFF to check against Tech Guide.

I talked about the MT because they typically work better for certain/some larger GPU's.  The RTX 3050 is 9.5" and would quite possibly fit in an MT.
