Optiplex 3060 Audio Front Panel Detection

Hi, I have been testing our deployment of Windows 10 Edu 1809 on some new Dell Optiplex 3060's we have received and can't get the front panel audio to work correctly. We are using System Center CB 1903 and have the latest A06 driver packs applied during the task sequence. The driver appears to be installed in device manager - Realtek Audio ver. 6.0.1.8409 but when plugging headphones in, it isn't detected; I have tried different headphones already. The Waves Maxxaudio software in the taskbar doesn't appear to be installed although the Waves Audio Service and Realtek Audio Universal Service are installed. I updated the driver via device manager and let it search Windows Updates and it updates to version 6.0.1.8642 and the sound does then work however the Wavesmaxx jack detection pop up doesn't come up and appears not to be installed. I've had issues before with the Wavesmaxx software and Optiplex 3050's we also have and a BIOS update seemed to fix that issue. I have updated this machine to the latest BIOS (1.3.4) but that hasn't fixed the problem. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? Thanks in advance

Just realised that Dell have released a new BIOS update that fixes the problem. It seems to be an issue with earlier BIOS version and disabling the internal speaker that breaks the driver installation somehow. I've now updated the BIOS to version 1.4.2 and the audio jack detection is now working.
