Optiplex 390
The maximum amount of RAM for an optiplex 390 is 8GB ram.
Incase I change the i3 to i5 processor in my Optiplex 390 computer.Is there a chance that even the maximum amount of ram which is 8GB will increase at least to 16 GB because I have applied a stronger processor than the one it had before

Max ram in 390 is determined by motherboard chipset not cpu “strength” or spec.
Dell validated 8 gb max but user validated 16 gb max, regardless of cpu spec is i3 or i5/7.
