OptiPlex 7010 DT Case Jammed
Hello,
I have an OptiPlex 7010 DT (Desktop - Newer Series from 2013) that I am taking out of service and prepping to sell. The case has side cover with a pull handle to remove the case. The handle lifts up but the case won't open. I don't hear or feel anything unlatching when I lift the handle. Any ideas how to open or where to pry on the cover to pop the latch?

This video shows the panel removal. If it does not lift easily when the handle is lifted then obviously there is a restriction. Possibly the handle assy. is the cause with a broken latch assy.

Thank you very much. The video showed the latch mechanism in action. I was able to use a slotted screwdriver to push the tab in where the padlock goes as I lifted the handle. Now I'll need to see why the handle's not working. Most important, though, is I have the case open.
