Optiplex 7010 USB boot problem

Question

Hello everybody! First of all sorry for my bad english. So i have an optiplex 7010, i i want to change the os(win32legacy) from legacy to uefi. I see a youtube video what show how to change in administrator command. This thing not work at all and my windows dont work any more. (Yes i change the bios settings) I install an official win10 to an usb stick. Before i put in check the bios one more time to check if it's in uefi, oke is in uefi fine. I put in the usb stick, i go to bios and the usb shows up. Okay i restart the pc and go to boot menu i select the usb hit enter and blackscreen/no signal but the pc still running. I check the usb in another pc and it's boot up the setup just fine. I have no idea what is the problem.  Thank you all for the reply.

Finnaly, i can boot win10 setup from usb in uefi. The solution was to update the bios, in legacy mod with FreeDos on usb, wich can run exe files.

Did you try booting from USB 2.0 and not 3.0?  Through Dell Community, I've heard there's issues with trying to boot from USB 3.0.
