Optiplex 7020 (Orange Light Blinking)

Hello,

Please Help Me Out From This Error

Actually,

I was facing this issue since 5 months. But at that time, whenever the power button blinks in orange. I would just remove Plug For 30 Minutes and after 30 minutes I will keep it back to the socket. It would work

But since 1 week, this error had became more and more

And even if I off my pc for 5 hours it doesn't even work.

In this one week it just power up only 2 times. And those 2 times are

2 days back, after trying so much. It finally power up, while I was using it. It suddenly got shutdown and started blinking orange light again and again

And one more

I tried 6 hours back, it started showing white light on power button. But suddenly it got power off and restarted it self. Same thing started repeating again.

Please help me out!

Sounds like a PSU on its way out.  Binking orange power light means bad PSU.  I experienced much the same with a PSU on its way out and then it eventually just died.

Power supply unit.  Now it looks like you edited your post from the original asking about PSU. Indeed, change the PSU.

I have the same issue. First orange solid, then white solid. Then no power. This just repeats. I just changed the PSU thinking that was the problem. This is the 3rd PSU. 1st time I changed it the issue was resolved. Now nothing. Help!

Update: 1 second orange to 1 sec white. No power. Repeat.

Is the battery! Size 2032. I just happened to have an extra one from changing my car remote battery a couple months ago. I changed it in the computer. Fixed!

Glad you got it working.  Not unusual for an Optiplex to throw a confusing or undocumented error code when the battery is bad.
