Optiplex 7050 Mini Tower System Drive - Dramatic Change?

Hello Friends

With regards to the Dell Optiplex 7050 Mini Tower, I'm wondering if I made a foolish big mistake (or is it just a misunderstanding)?

It appears as though this generation of desktops went with a 'chip style' M.2 256 GB SOLID STATE DRIVE (SSD) System Drive? If so, I'd rather not get strapped into an expensive upgrade, and may have to send the entire system back for a more conventional set up.

(Or)

Is this my own misunderstanding and is there still an 'option' of swapping to a conventional mechnanical FULL SIZE Drive? In other words can the Caddy that holds the larger storage drives also hold a System Drive?

Thank You

Hello (looking for some help)

Removing optional M.2 PCIe SSD - Before this procedure (below) can be completed, where/when does one format a Full Sized HD with an OS? I would also suspect changes need to be made in the Bios regarding a Boot Drive?
