Optiplex 7080 Micro - HDD Caddy missing

Question

Hi everyone, Hoping someone can help here. Is the 7080 micro supposed to ship with the hdd caddy (blue plastic piece). After trying to confirm with Dell Sales as well as Support teams, I can't get a definitive answer and no one seems to be able to confirm the exact part number. @bradthetechnut - Thanks for the transcript before where the Dell rep referenced YHNFX as the part number, but I don't think that's for the micro form factor as the pic looks different and doesn't have the yellow highlighted tab in my pic. And the QR code on the pic looks like if states 0HTR70 as the part number, but I can't find that anywhere. To be clear, I have referring to the service manual (and tear down videos) shows the part  - see the pic. The spec sheet doesn't have part #'s, let alone reference the blue caddy.

For anyone following this one..

I have been back and forth a bit with Dell support and came back to me today after speaking with their engineering team. The part number I previously mentioned is indeed correct (HTR70) and that it should have shipped with my machine. They have agreed to ship to me as a result of the trouble caused.

Thanks @DELL-Cares - although the support team is still having trouble with this. Now the part is unable to be ordered, so there's another handover to a different team to help. I don't understand why it's so hard to get a part ordered and dispatched..

So just an update. Still no sign of the promised part. Been a month now of 'sorry for the delay' responses...What a poor experience!

Did you ever get the part? Going off this post I ordered a few from ebay and they don't fit. This should be a simple solution to find the correct part number but it's not.

I don't know if it will have an effect, but I just sent a complaint to Dell about Dell Community members not being able to get the part.

I see speedstep's link now unintentionally goes to other parts. Couldn't find the part from there either.
