Optiplex 755 won't boot

When I turn on my Optiplex 755 I get the following message:

"Alert! System battery voltage is low. Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utilities. Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics"

Typically I would push the F1 key and it would boot up fine. Now when I push the F1 key I get the following message:

"A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart"

I have pressed Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart it but when it does it goes back to the black screen with the initial message up top that I typed. I have run the setup utilities and onboard diagnotics with nothing saying there are any errors.

What should my next step be? How can I try to get into Safe Mode? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

You need to buy and replace the DL2032 battery or this system will not boot ever again.  2.2 volts or lower will have that error.

Its unfortunate that the battery can cause this but they are not expensive.

Most Grocery stores carry these because blood sugar machines use the same battery.
