optiplex 790 desktop
hello all,
i have an optiplex 790 that is at least 8 years old - still going strong .
does dell sell refurbished 790's ?
what desktop would be similar to the 790 but to use as a business machine ?

790 is 13 years old now so no it would not be still sold or supported.
This model has spectre and meltdown issues that will never be fixed.
Oldest recommended model would be 7020 9020 models which will work fine with windows 10.

the world is huge place, where you are who knows.? but you can buy PCs used or Refurb (dustoffs, my name) in vast places, even walmart, Amazon and ebay and vast other places, use google to find them using clear text
google "dell optiplex refurbished" (even add the model # too)
tell me this why in the world buy any PC below GEN4 i5 , CPU, haswell...
I guess you never seen this at wiki? shows them all tells base line facts, no more.
no stated use for this PC. (gaming dreams. or? do tell?)
try at least a dell 9020MT.
first decide the model you want then find it sold used or refurb'ed, (vast exists )
no purse stated (cash to spend that would be first, no?) or buy a T3610, wow !
why not just build a PC, with your choice CASE (endless some are amazing for cooling) the Z270 mobo up.
the fit it out. nothing is better, if brave and own 1 screw driver, .
