Optiplex 9020 MT can't access BIOS

When I tried to change my 9020 MT's BIOS from Legacy to UEFI, there was no Boot Sequence shown. Instead of changing back to Legacy, I hit Exit instead. BIG mistake!

Now I can't access the BIOS by hitting F2 during power up. Just a black screen. I removed the battery, waited a few minutes and reinserted it. That didn't help.

How can I access the BIOS again? TIA.

Replace cmos battery with a brand new one.  If still can not access bios, try clear cmos settings by motherboard jumper.

you can change to UEFI.  You would need to do a clean install of Windows by boot from a USB or DVD first.   The old OS that ran in legacy mode would not boot in UEFI.

@redxps630

Thanks. Replacing a new battery did not fix the problem. Where is the clear cmos settings jumper located on the motherboard?
