Optiplex 9020 SSD Issiue
I have an Optiplex 9020, so far it was running in a company network. Since it was discarded there, I took it with me.It worked at home until I decided to reinstall Windows.
But it was not able to recognize the SSD in the Windows setup. I reset and updated the bios. I also changed the SATA cables and tested different SSD's and HDD's without success.
Does anyone else have any ideas what this might be due to?

There are zero issues with ssd in the 9020.
Windows 7 8 and 10 require the sata operation to be set to AHCI for install.
You can use this DVD to reinstall windows .

You don't need anything else UNTIL you need drivers
Then you need 7zip and the Windows Driver cab file
https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
Install 7zip
Download the cab file

Move it to the My documents folder.
Use 7zip and right click (Extract here) in the my documents folder for the CAB file.
If you choose intel RAID SATA OPERATION then the F6 mass storage drivers are REQUIRED. Early Versions of windows 7 NON SP1 will require the F6 drivers .
how to install the storage controller f6 driver during the windows installation setup process
