Optiplex 960 Spectre BIOS update
hi, im trying to find out if dell will be realeasing a update for the 960 for Spectre?

According to the article, "Last Date Modified: 04/27/2018 09:59 AM". Based on that recent statement, I would have to say that the 2008 10 year old Optiplex 960 will not be getting a BIOS.

This system can be affected by spectre but forget about a fix from either Dell or Intel as neither will fix it for two reasons; Dell says the system is too old, and Intel says the CPU is too old. So yeah this system will be vulnerable forever.
