Optiplex 980 bios update not completing
Hi,
I run bios update from windows, computer restarted and since than it is stuck on black screen with progress bar being empty on the bottom of the screen. How can I fix that ? Thank you

This suggests a corrupted BIOS, caused by the update.
Your only hope is a CMOS memory rest clears this. If not, the motherboard will require replacement (with another 980 motherboard). There is no BIOS recovery on this model.
CMOS reset. Disconnect the mains AC power cable, press the power button for 10 seconds to drain any residual power. Open the case and locate the CR2032 coin cell battery on the motherboard. Remove the battery for at least 5 minutes. Reinstall the battery, reconnect the AC power cable and try. If it works you are lucky.
