I should have mentioned that, whilst the machine was under warranty from the company that refurbished the machine they replaced the power cable after a fault. The replacement is only just long enough and is a little stressed from the look of it. That’s why I’m suspicious of it. You’re right though, I’ll get a meter on it and see if I’ve got a bad connection.

1. Maybe. Some go flakey in later-life (others even sooner). :Crying:
2. Easy enough to test/troubleshoot. Also, I don't see how that would cause random restarting.
