PCI driver issues
I have a refurbished Optiplex 755,here are the specs
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 64 bit, Build 18362, Installed 20200718084111.000000-300
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11, CPU Count: 2
Total Physical RAM: 4 GB
Graphics Card: Intel(R) Q35 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.0), 256 MB
Hard Drives: C: 230 GB (190 GB Free);
Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0DR845, s/n CN137407C606MW.
System: Dell Inc., ver DELL - 15, s/n FZ0WQF1
Antivirus: Windows Defender, Enabled and Updated
and it has error codes on the PCI serial port and PCI simple communications. when i inquired the driver details, a pop up said " Driver files not required or not loaded onto this device" I Legit just got this PC yesterday, and i would just like to get it running. Has anyone else had this
this issue? if so, how did you fix it? I've looked online, and even asked dell tech support, and they said they couldn't help me because my warranty was out( like I said, refurbished)

10 works fine using the Generic OEM or legacy drivers.
WDDM 1.0 drivers work fine.
Not supported does not mean not working.
PCI Serial Errors are INTEL AMT HECI SOL drivers.

I hope you got that computer for free. The 755 is a 12 yr old computer that is not a good upgrade candidate. You do not have a discrete video card. The Intel video that you list is the original integrated video for windows 7. Windows 10 is not approved for any of the 4 diff 755 models--no win 10 drivers-- so generic MS drivers must be used. Manual--

I'm not one to insult with "I hope you got that computer for free." As we know, 755's are commonly sold with Win10.
What specific error codes or phrases are you getting? Did your 755 come with any type of return policy? "!"-yellow triangle by anything in Device Manager?
And...Can you run diagnostics? 2 ways to do this. Upon startup, use F12 to access boot menu. Choose diagnostics option. Full diagnostics take a while. It's usually best to run at end of day and not have to wait for it. 2nd way to do it, use Dell Support Assist to scan your system.
