psu for OptiPlex 5070 Small Form Factor
i have dell 5070 optiplex sff, i want to upgrade vga GTX1660 but my 5070 optiplex sff computer case does not have enough space to mount vga GTX1660 so i plan to change the psu to a 500w flex psu which is higher power than my current psu (200W), but it takes up less space so there is enough space to mount vga GTX1660, can any experienced bro help me if changing the psu and vga GTX1660 is suitable for my dell 5070 optiplex sff.

the forum and reddit have had successful install of flex psu in sff

"So it seems pretty easy to upgrade the power supply in a SFF optiplex by simply using a 1u flex power supply and then just getting the 24pin to Dell proprietary motherboard adaptor. And then the rest hook up with normal PSU cables. ...The only issue is you may need to mod the pcie bracket support in the back of the case to accommodate for the dual slot card ..."

another option is to use Dell oem 500w psu for Optiplex and install low profile 1660 in PCIex4 slot. the x4 slot has open end in 5070. the performance compromise is negligible c/t x16 slot.
