Question

I have an optiplex 780 and hopefully someone can help. The computer is getting power, but will not turn on. I am thinking it could be either the start-up button or the cable that runs from the power supply to the start-up button. Please help.

Are any diagnostic lights on?  Either 1, 2, 3, 4, and/or orange power button light, flashing or steady? What happens if you push the test button on the PSU and try to power up at the same time?
