System password
My pc won’t let me get onto it after I tried resetting some settings that I shouldn’t have! It’s asking me for the “system password” but I got the pc second hand for Christmas and so have no idea what the password is! Please help!

Try using your password to your Microsoft Account. It is not asking for a bios password, just the windows pw.
You should always mention your model computer and operating system when asking a question.

What Optiplex is this? To reset system password you need to move a little blue jumper on the motherboard to clear the CMOS.
