Unexpected error using Support Assistant

Question

While using Support Assistant I get an 'unexpected error' message when trying to look for downloads and drivers.  This has been happening for about a week now.  I have a relatively new OptiPlex 7780 All-In-One.

The last time it successfully ran (Get Downloads and Drivers) was on Aug 3rd, four days ago.

Reinstalling the Support Assist application make no sense.  Why do all the other functions of Support Assist work OK?????

The disappointing thing with @DELL-Cares corresponding privately is if they give an accepted solution, the rest of us don't get to know what it is.

Yes, that Dell page works if you want to manually find drivers and downloads. But if you let that Dell page contact your computer to automatically find drivers and downloads then it contacts Support Assistant on the PC and the same error results.

I'm glad you got it. Otherwise, I was going to suggest Optiplex 7780 AIO Drivers Pack Cab File. It downloads the drivers at once.

I can't be sure that there's no computer scan first, but one of our other Rockstars regularly recommends the driver pack/cab file method.
