Where is cpu temperature in cmos?
Hi, I have just acquired an Optiplex 7010. I can't find the CPU temperature in the setup screens. Can someone point me the way?

Coretemp is a free program and you can configure it to display the cpu temps in the taskbar. It seems to work very well.

@savvy2
hwinfo is the very best free program I have found to display detailed system information; it displays tons and tons of info. But I haven't found a way for it to display temps in a small persistent window or taskbar. Maybe I missed it.
Is there a way to configure hwinfo as a simple monitor, or are there some addons that work this way?
So far, the next best program other than coretemp is open hardware monitor. It can be configured to display temps in a very tiny window, but not a small digital display in the task bar.
