Why do I need a "Second" DELL Account?

I have tried to read a number of official "DELL" 'information links' mentioned here in Optiplex, but apparently many of those "DELL"  links requires me to signup for a SECOND DELL account?  And that DELL information is "locked away and restricted" until I do? (example below)

I am able to login here and I can post and participate problem free, but (apparently) my credentials (from here) are not good enough for 'the other' DELL Site?  This is both frustrating and frankly, dumb.  It seems to me that DELL already has enough personal information about 'me'!

I am always reluctant to 'signup' at sites, but the "Information" here is so good that I was willing to take that chance, but I can't fathom why "I" or "DELL" should require TWO DELL accounts?

answer today about Audio Problems is a perfect example (6-16-19) and here is that "answer" link:

https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln297954/dell-computers-tested-for-windows-10-may-2019-update-and-previous-versions-of-windows-10?lang=en#Optiplex-MAY19U

Sadly this "DELL" link takes one to a second "DELL" - "Login or Register" page!... SO frustrating because again, that DELL information is "locked away and restricted" until I do?

GREAT CALL!

"INTERNET EXPLODER" and "MS EDGE" got me right in to full 'user Dell'!  NoGo with CHROME...(it is my favorite).  And I see EDGE has switched be back to the MS start page, gurrrrrr... insidious rats.

EDGE kept nagging me that the 'Dell Site Certificate was Not Valid'?!... Each time I changed a page or opened a new DELL link (from within DELL) I received a new nag with the same news.  (I thought MS and DELL were bed partners)?  I just returned to EDGE (and DELL) and now the nags are gone?... Sheesh.. it's F.M. (second word: Magic) ~ as we said in aerospace...

Yep, second check, the nags are gone. (head shaking, but thankful)...

Strange though... every other day (and sometimes more often if I've done a lot to my DELL), I 'clean' my system so most cookies and cache (for sure) are cleaned at the same time.  Of course I do keep a very few really necessary cookies... and sometimes I wipe *everything*!  Yep... my "DELL" cookie is still there and I cleaned yesterday...

I wonder, what ever happened to Netscape?

Thanks again for the Browser hint.  I DO appreciate it!

Try a different browser, such as Chrome or Firefox.  Also, if at anytime the forum's interface doesn't seem to be working right, hit refresh.  Please let us know if this works for you.  Your link worked just fine for me.
