Windows XP Pro won't install - Stop Code 0x0000007B
Hello Dell Community,
I just bought a Dell OptiPlex 755 MT and I need to do a clean install of Windows XP Professional, the only problem is, is that everytime it attempts to start the setup program, it always throws up a blue screen with the stop code 0x0000007B and I've tried changed the SATA Operation from AHCI to ATA as that is what I have available in the BIOS. I even tried changing the SATA Operation to Legacy but that doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you.

It happens because your the BIOS of your newer machine is set to AHCI mode and your drive is missing the AHCI drivers

@ChongJiahao How do I get the AHCI Drivers for my PC and onto Windows XP's Installation Setup?

You're welcome. I see redxps deleted post. Hopefully you have everything you need in the link I gave.
And of course, please let me/us know how it goes.
