Beyond that, this system is happiest with a dual channel memory setup. In other words, the first 2 slots should have identical dimms, and the 2nd two should have identical dimms.
It can work in single channel mode however. I'd try just the 1 GB dimm on it's own first and see if that works. If it does, add the 512, and see if those 2 will work together. If the 1 GB doesn't want to work on it's own, you have incompatible memory, or bad memory.
H3N8241 400SC 2.26 533FSB my memories are pc3200 512 and the original 128 but the memory i bought wasa a pc3200 and i was wondering why it didnt work. is it incompatible or i need a new processor?/
