A fatal error was detected on a component at bus 0 device 1 function 0
We are experiencing several troubles with a PowerEdge R430 server, without warrancy.
The SO is Vmware ESXi. Every time we try to do any operation related to disks, the server hangs and we have to perform a hard reset (or some) in order to have it working again.
When this happens, the LED screen on frontal have the following message, with an orange light:
"A fatal error was detected on a component at bus 0 device 1 function 0”.
On the screen, we can find the following message:
Checking the LOGs, we found the following error message:
Please, could you assist?
Thanks in advance for your time,
Best Regards.

GCascales,
The Bus 0 Device 1 Function 0 is identifying the PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Xeon E7 v4/Xeon E5 v4/Xeon E3 v4/Xeon D PCI Express Root Port 1. I would suggest starting with powering down and reseating the controller, if error persists then try removing it completely. You may also want to with the other expansion casrds as well. Also would you confirm what version the BIOS, iDrac, and raid controller are at?
Let me know what you see.
