Adding a GPU to r720xd
Trying to add a gtx 1060 to my r720xd for transcoding, among other things. It refuses to show up anywhere in windows server 2016, and does not have any output. The card works, I have tested it.

GTX 1060 is not a supported GPU on Power Edge R720xd. Not supported does not mean it will not work. As it is not supported it is not validated, hence we can not guarantee that it will work. You can also wait for another Community member who tried this combination and share their experience.

Okay. Is there some cheap quadro card with a decent amount of vram (2+gb) that is on the market that I can buy that would be compatible with this?

It needs to have support for nvenc and h265, forgot to mention.
