Adding PERC 800 Card to Poweredge R310
I am needing to add this to my server. Everytime I install the card and boot the server I tells me that I have lost my drives and won't boot. I remove the card and server boots just fine. I am not sure how to change the boot settings without loosing my raid and wiping my hard drives. I need to keep it booting from the current controller. This one is just to connect a SAN.

I will have to double check I was adding it to the only open slot in the server. Can I just change the boot order without causing any problems with the current array.

Thanks. I will see what I can do. Why does it try to boot from this card when there are no drives attached to it.
